Google is rolling out AI Inbox in Gmail to paid Workspace users, and the Education editions listed are AI Pro for Education. It pulls to-dos and summaries of important topics out of email threads. It is limited to users in the US using EN-US.

Google says there is no admin control for this feature. Eligible users open it from the Gmail desktop client or mobile app menu. Rapid Release domains started on 12 October 2026 and Scheduled Release domains start on 26 October 2026, with up to 15 days for visibility. Google adds that it will reach Starter and Education editions later, in the coming months.
