Google is rolling out skills in the Gemini app, and they will be available to users of all ages. Skills in Workspace, which are limited to users over 18, are delayed until further notice.
Nothing. This notice is for awareness.
For your ICT coordinator
Google says there are no admin controls for skills in the Gemini app. Admin controls exist for skills in Workspace, which are delayed with no new date, and those skills are listed for the Google AI Pro for Education add-on. The Gemini app rollout started on 13 October 2026 and should finish by mid-November. Google also plans sharing of Gemini app skills and a Google Drive integration in the coming weeks.
